    • Supports application of the “scientific method” to support actions that result in outcomes where everyone can benefit, ot at least, not be any worse off, e.g, the right things).
    • The “scientific method” that most everyone may be able to relate to is the U.S. Justice System – aim of which is the pursuit of Truth.   Since humans are not perfect, laws and systems are developed to help manage variation.  If someone is accused of breaking the law and claims innocence,  the case is processed through the justice system and a decision (verdict) is rendered. The decision can be appealed.  If the same case was tried anywhere in the county, in principle, the verdict would be close to the same.

    • The aim for the design of the American System of government is to enable “We the People” to work towards – not a perfect Union which is not possible, but “a more perfect Union.”   Quality Management principles, methods, and tools,support “systemic”  improvement.
