Vacancies – Boards and Commissioner. Will be advertised in the Democrat, social media, and in the lobby of the county office building.

Voting Centers

• • Election Board Request by Mark Williams
    • Request Commissioners and Council support the “concept” of voting centers via a resolution. This will lead to a study committee and public meetings to address concerns, options, and costs. The decision and selected options need to be completed by Thanksgiving. 
    • Counter-Argument – Paper Only –– Joy Martin
      • The counter-argument included a paper-only based system. This would require that we retain the 9 voting locations.  No other county in the state has implemented this option.
